What Can Chiropractors Do?
Most people picture a chiropractor as someone who adjusts your spine and sends you on your way. Many chiropractors choose to practice that way, focusing mainly on manual therapy and spinal adjustments. But the chiropractic license is much broader than that, and few practices use it fully.
I trained at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in Toronto, where chiropractors are taught to work across that full scope. Alongside adjustments and manual therapy, that training puts heavy emphasis on diagnosis, exercise-based rehab, and active recovery, the same tools you’d expect from a sports rehab clinic.
At CB Movement Co., that’s how we practice: a thorough diagnosis, hands-on treatment, and an active rehab program built around your goals.
Our Full Scope of Care
In Colorado, chiropractors are licensed to provide all of the following.

-
Spinal and Extremity Adjustments
Trained to safely adjust the full spine, shoulders, hips, knees, ankles, and feet, when it’s the right fit for you.
-
Soft Tissue Therapy
Myofascial (Active) release, instrument-assisted work, trigger point therapy, fascial release, and pin-and-stretch techniques.
-
Dry Needling
With additional certified training, chiropractors can offer dry needling, a Western approach that targets tight muscles and trigger points, or acupuncture, which is rooted in traditional Chinese medicine. Some offer both.

-
