Chiropractic Care
Joint manipulation, often called an adjustment, is a quick, precise movement applied to a joint that isn’t moving well. It can help reduce pain, ease muscle tension, and restore normal motion, whether the problem is in your neck, mid back, low back, or an extremity joint like the hip, knee, ankle, foot, shoulder, elbow, or wrist.
Safety is our priority. Before any joint manipulation of any kind, every patient receives a thorough safety screening, including neurological and vascular testing. This helps make sure manipulation is appropriate for you and your body that day. If it isn’t, we’ll use gentler mobilization or other approaches instead.
Our techniques are evidence-based and tailored to each person, never one-size-fits-all. Adjustments are always paired with hands-on soft tissue work and targeted exercise, because getting a joint moving is only half the job. Keeping it moving well is what makes the results last.
What to expect: You may hear a pop or click during an adjustment. That’s just a release of gas from the joint and nothing to worry about. Most people feel looser right away, with occasional mild soreness for a day afterward. You’re always in control, and we’ll explain what we’re doing and why before we do it.
