Myofascial Release Therapy
Myofascial release is a hands-on, pin-and-stretch technique for muscles that are tight, painful, or just not moving the way they should. I apply targeted pressure to the problem area while you actively move the muscle through its range, helping it lengthen, release tension, and glide freely again.
My approach is rooted in my Active Release Technique (ART) training and refined through years of treating active patients. It’s especially effective for muscle spasm and pain, stubborn knots, and nerve entrapment, where a tight muscle pinches or irritates a nearby nerve and causes symptoms like tingling, numbness, or radiating pain.
Like everything at CB Movement Co., myofascial release is paired with targeted exercise so the gains you make on the table carry over into how you run, ski, lift, and move every day.
What to expect: The pressure can feel intense in tight spots, but it should never be more than you’re comfortable with. Most people leave feeling looser and moving more freely, with mild tenderness for a day or so afterward.
